"The film"

 

The film "Kozák e os Índios do Brasil" will have subtitles in Czech and English for exhibition abroad.

 

 

 

Scheduled for release at the end of this year 2022, the film "Kozák e os Índios do Brasil" is a documentary feature-length audiovisual production that presents the life and work of Vladimir Kozák.

 

Mixing scenes and images captured in the Parque Indigena do Xingu, in the Serra do Mar do Paraná, at the Chaminé plant in São José dos Pinhais, and in the cities of Curitiba (PR), São Paulo (SP) and Vitória (ES), with scenes and images captured and produced by Vladimir Kozák himself throughout his life.

 

The film is a production of this project with direction by Marcelo Miguel, executive production by Fernanda Maranhão and Marcelo Miguel and editing direction by Pedro Merege.

 

The work began in 2010, but suffered two stoppages, the last one caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

At the moment, the production is waiting for the finalization of the audio and the inclusion of subtitles in English and Czech, for future presentation of the work also in the Czech Republic and abroad.

 

The intention of the producers of this project is to hold a series of free screenings of the film, in at least 24 different Brazilian cities.

 

Along with the exhibition, other actions and activities of this project will be carried out, after registration and participation of the film in Circuits and Film Festivals in Brazil and abroad.

 

Later, the work should also be made available on the internet, opting for broadcasting and distribution through streaming, and this action should be part of the activities of the commemorations of the 100th anniversary of the arrival of Vladimir Kozák in Brazil.
